The INNOAIR project will hold its final conference on May 18, 2023 in Sofia Hotel Balkan. The event will aim to summarize all the results and lessons learned from the project, which has been actively developing urban mobility in Sofia for the third year and ensures a fairer green transition.

The conference will present and discuss innovations developed and tested within the project, such as on-demand urban transport, introduction of a low-emission zone, road map for introduction of congestion charge and others. We will have the opportunity to compare Sofia's progress with the efforts of other cities and look for ways to transfer working models.

We will look at the results of INOEAR from the perspective of universities, citizens who use the new transport services, participants in student competitions and hackathons, and businesses.

Within the framework of the conference, there will also be an exhibition of other projects implemented by the Metropolitan Municipality in the field of sustainable mobility and clean air.

Immediately after the conference, there will also be an opportunity to visit the site and get a first-hand look at the on-demand transport, the low-emission zone and the analytical system for updating public transport timetables.

In addition, save the date May 17, 2023, when the knowledge transfer seminar on the project, which is organized by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, is also planned. More information about his program will be released in the coming days.
