The Prime Minister and government ministers discussed the most pressing problems and priority tasks at the beginning of the mandate of the local authority

The Prime Minister Academician Nikolay Denkov, the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Andrey Tsekov and the Deputy Minister of Finance Georgi Klisurski discussed with mayors and chairmen of the municipal councils the priorities in the new mandate of the local government.

"The next 4 years are extremely important for you and for the people who rely on you. Each new term should be stronger than the previous one.

The government will be your partner in every respect, no matter how difficult this may be in the context of the political situation", assured the Prime Minister in his address and emphasized: "For us, all mayors, all municipalities and regions are Bulgarian and there will be no division by party or another sign'.

The chairman of the board of NAMRB and mayor of Veliko Tarnovo, Daniel Panov, drew attention to the fact that Academician Denkov is the prime minister with whom the mayors of municipalities have held the most meetings, and the discussions are always specific and, to the greatest extent, productive, despite the short term from the beginning of the mandate of the government.
