The MultiHome project, developed by Plovdiv Municipality and the Energy Agency – Plovdiv, is a finalist for the European Commission’s EUSEW Awards 2026.
The MultiHome initiative provides free consultations for citizens and promotes comprehensive energy solutions that improve home comfort and significantly reduce energy costs.
The European Sustainable Energy Awards (EUSEW Awards) of the European Commission recognize individuals, projects, and initiatives with outstanding contributions to Europe’s transition to clean energy.
For the first time in the 20-year history of the awards, Bulgaria has a nominee, and the Bulgarian finalist is the MultiHome initiative.
MultiHome has transformed the fragmented renovation market into a unified partnership involving local authorities, energy experts, construction companies, and financial institutions.
The winner will be selected through online voting, which will continue until 31 May, and will be announced during the awards ceremony in Brussels on 9 June 2026.
You can support the project by voting through the link, selecting “MultiHome,” clicking “Vote,” and verifying your vote via email.
The MultiHome initiative is implemented by the Energy Agency – Plovdiv and Plovdiv Municipality with the support of the European Union’s LIFE Programme. It brings together the municipal administration, experts from the regional energy agency, local construction businesses, and financial institutions in a market-oriented partnership.
