On June 10-11, 2023 the second edition of the initiative "From the farm to your table" organized by the Blagoevgrad Regional Directorate "Agriculture" is coming. This year the event is hosted by the municipality of Sandanski, and the exhibition will be located in the city park "Sveti Vrach". The largest agricultural forum in Southwest Bulgaria is realized under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Southwest State Enterprise-Blagoevgrad. NSORB will again be an official partner of the event, after the success of the first edition in Gotse Delchev.

The purpose of the forum is to provide business contacts and an opportunity to promote products of agricultural producers from 14 Bulgarian municipalities - Blagoevgrad, Belitsa, Sandanski, Yakoruda, Petrich, Garmen, Hadjidimovo, Gotse Delchev, Satovcha, Kresna, Strumyani, Simitli, Razlog and Bansko .

The only park with sandy alleys and one of the largest in terms of area in Bulgaria, stretching over 344 acres of land on both banks of the Sandanska Bistrica river, will become a platform uniting the supply of high-quality Bulgarian food from local farmers, nature and active lifestyle, culture and tourism. It is planned to set aside corners for tastings, presentations of each municipality, opportunity for meetings, exchange of ideas and start of partnerships.

Residents and guests of Sandanski will be able to enjoy an incredibly rich cultural program, culinary performances, children's animation and fire theater performances. They will receive information about the natural sights and cultural calendar of the destinations, they will be able to get to know the farmers from the regions and their production, try it, buy the desired product and make contact for daily shopping and consumption of high-quality organic food.

The organizers of the forum report the first edition of the forum in 2022. as extremely successful. The forum gathered and included over 8,000 people in the city park of Gotse Delchev municipality. The guests recognized and appreciated the value of the event and the products offered, stimulating both the supply and the demand for organic Bulgarian products. The project united three sectors - agriculture, culture, tourism and became synonymous with the good and fruitful cooperation between the institutions.
