A project for the construction of a new green area won the municipality of Ruse. It envisages the construction of a park in the Zdravets-Iztok quarter on municipal property at 121 Lipnik Blvd.

The park will be built in 36 months in partnership between the municipalities of Ruse and Gyurgevo. The value of the project is nearly BGN 1,800,000, of which 80% is from the European Regional Development Fund, the rest is national co-financing and the municipality of Ruse's own participation.

The planned plot has an area of ​​25 decares. It will be built with natural and environmentally friendly materials, instead of the so-called "grey infrastructure". There is a designated area for picnics, events and meetings, as well as a children's playground. The alleys will have a water-permeable surface, and the lighting will be solar-powered. It is planned to install park furniture and a drinking water fountain. The vegetation will be of local plant species, characteristic of the Danube plain and the river's coast.

It is planned to build a video surveillance system and an automated irrigation system. Highlights of the park are the fountain and the "Biodiversity" corner.
