Getting to know the processes in the municipality and participating in an active dialogue are the basis for successful communication between the local government and young people. But this cannot be done with local policies alone, it needs an initiative on the part of the youth. The NAMRB internship program is a great way for young people to start this process. This was commented by representatives from the NAMRB team during a working meeting with the vice-presidents of the National Youth Forum (NYF) Atanas Radev and Adela Bozmarova. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss joint cooperation between the two organizations in order to support the activities of local authorities in the implementation of national youth policies.
NYF is the largest youth platform in Bulgaria, which unites 46 youth organizations from all over the country. The forum is an intermediary between youth organizations and the central government, a full member of the European Youth Forum and an active partner of national and European institutions in building and advocating for youth policies.
The NAMRB intern Greta Georgieva - student at UNSS, fourth year Public Administration - also took part in the meeting.
