Stamboliyski: measures are tightened, the precaution measures are announced from a municipal minivan, traveling around the municipality
On Monday the Mayor of Stamboliyski, Mr. Georgi Maradzhiev personally travelled with a minivan around the municipality to call to all citizens to stay at their homes. From Monday this announcement was recorded and the minivan travels around all neighbourhoods.
Mayor warned that the measures for combating the coronavirus spread are getting stricter and wearing face masks is obligatory in indoor spaces, as well as in outdoor public areas. The fines for purposeless walks is 5 000 BGN.
This is the announcement that would be heard for several days from the speakers of the municipal minivan:
"Dear fellow citizens!
Since 13 March we have been in a situation of state of emergency because of the coronavirus outbreak! Until the state of emergency is lifted, new legal measures are in force:
- A person who violates or fails to comply with the anti-epidemic measures introduced by the Minister of Health and the order of the Mayor of Stamboliyski Municipality for aimless walking and gathering of groups without protective means shall be punished with a fine of 5,000 BGN.
- If the offender is a sole trader or a legal entity, a pecuniary sanction of 15,000 BGN shall be imposed.
- The offenses shall be established by acts drawn up by health inspectors, officials of the Ministry of Interior and officials designated by order of the mayor of Stamboliyski municipality.
- The punitive decrees shall be issued by the director of the respective Regional Inspectorate, the director of the respective Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior and the mayor of Stamboliiski municipality. "
